Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS Concept Car

Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept is a creation of two designers from the Netherlands - Emile Pop and Justin de Boer. This car concept has spent five years in the design process. The work began at the start of 2008 on the first fully operational prototype.

Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS is a concept for sports car with 4 door, 4 person, which blurs the line between a GT and a supercar.

Powered by a front mounted GM sourced LS7 supercharged V8, Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS may outputs 601 bhp at 6,200 rpm, and 750 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. This is mated to an automatic transmission mounted toward the rear of the car driving the rear wheels. Basically it’s the running gear from the C6 Chevrolet Corvette.

Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept is constructed from high-tech, lightweight materials. However the construction method employs simple techniques to keep the design feasible. This car concept is based around a chrome-molybendium space frame covered with a carbon fibre body. The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS styling is based on “an aggressive line conflict”. This design theme relies on an arrow form connecting all the lines from front to back.

The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS suspension is handled by a fully independent setup with ride height adjustable Koni dampers working in conjunction with handcrafted air suspension.

The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept features fully electric powered seats, navigation system, audio system, digital TV, phone control, and also a heads-up-display (HUD). The interior styling of Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept is influenced by yachts, and features a wood deck flooring and luxurious trim materials.

Entry to the Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept is through elaborate suicide doors opened via a luxurious handmade watch. Once inside the occupants are met with a high center console which neatly divides the four separate passenger zones. The interior features a 10″ touch screen which controls many functions including the doors and air conditioning system.

The braking for Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept is taken care of with 8 piston calipers and 380 mm discs up front, and 4 piston calipers gripping 355 mm discs at the rear. However, the first Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS concept is scheduled for completion in 2009, while it is currently well into its build process now.
